The Richard Mille RM 65-01 Automatic Split-Seconds Chronograph Grey Quartz TPT Skeleton Dial combines cutting-edge materials with advanced functionality. The 44 mm chronograph features a bold, color-coded display for intuitive function recognition. Light blue indicates the time functions -hours, minutes, and small seconds at 6 o’clock - while classic blue marks the date. Orange highlights the chronograph’s sweep seconds hand, as well as the 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. Yellow corresponds to the winding mechanism, and purple is used for the split-seconds hand to ensure complete clarity. The case is crafted from satin-finished titanium with micro-blasted, polished accents. Titanium is also used for the engraved caseband plate and chronograph pushers, while the rapid-winding pusher stands out in lemon-yellow Quartz TPT.
Powering the timepiece is the skeletonized RMAC4 automatic movement, featuring a next-generation split-seconds mechanism, a newly developed column wheel, and a lightweight titanium baseplate optimized for strength and efficiency. To ensure exceptional reliability, the watch has undergone a battery of rigorous tests, including shock and drop simulations, accelerated 10-year aging trials, waterproof assessments, and evaluations for magnetic field resistance—proving its resilience in even the most extreme conditions.
